Biography

An Assistant Professor in the Hydraulics Department at Mouloud Mammeri University of Tizi Ouzou, Algeria. She specializes in water treatment and environmental studies, with a research focus on the removal of industrial dyes and pollutants from wastewater. She earned her PhD from Mohamed Khider University of Biskra, where she was a member of the LARHYSS laboratory. In early 2023, she completed a short-term research training at Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia, gaining expertise in various water treatment processes and technologies. Dr. Sarah’s research covers water quality analysis, environmental pollution, and wastewater treatment methods. She has contributed to several scientific publications, particularly on the removal of dyes such as Congo Red using coagulation and flocculation processes with aluminum sulfate. Through her research and scientific contributions, Dr. Goujil continues to develop innovative solutions for water treatment and pollution reduction, enhancing the sustainability of water resources and improving environmental quality.
