Biography

Dr. Essam is a prominent expert in environmental sustainability, waste management, and occupational health and safety (QHSE), with extensive experience in Europe, the Middle East, and the Gulf countries. Currently based in Kuwait, he has made significant contributions in the fields of environmental consulting, sustainable development, and renewable energy. Dr. Essam holds a Ph.D. in Laser Applications in Environmental, Photochemical, and Agricultural Measurements from the National Laser Institute, Cairo University (2010). Throughout his career, he has participated in over 400 major projects, providing specialized technical consulting for oil and gas companies, hazardous industrial waste management, environmental impact assessment (EIA), air and water quality management, wastewater treatment, and environmental audits to ensure regulatory compliance. With his deep expertise in solving environmental issues, he has successfully evaluated, monitored, and implemented environmental solutions across various industries, helping achieve compliance with international environmental standards. He is also a certified lead auditor for ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 17025:2017 and holds accreditations from the American Chemical Society and the International Accreditation Council (ICA). Dr. Essam serves as a guest lecturer in Waste Management at the Arabian Gulf University in Bahrain. He continues his efforts to support global environmental sustainability by promoting cleaner production, environmental responsibility, and providing innovative solutions to emerging environmental challenges.
