To address inconsistencies in PFAS monitoring, EPN is developing a regional guideline for PFAS sampling, analysis, and reporting, aligned with international standards.

The guideline will provide step-by-step technical procedures covering sample collection, analytical techniques, quality assurance, data interpretation, and regulatory reporting. It is designed to improve data reliability, comparability, and regulatory enforcement across Arab countries.

Experts note that the guideline could significantly reduce dependence on foreign laboratories and enhance national environmental surveillance capabilities.
