November 2025 | Arab Region
In November 2025 , EPN issued a Arabic-language newsletter (Volume 1 Issue 2), reinforcing its commitment to public engagement, science communication, and policy advocacy across the Arab world.
The Arabic edition focused on translating complex scientific issues—such as PFAS, microplastics, air pollution, and water safety—into accessible language for decision-makers, journalists, educators, and the wider public. It emphasized the importance of environmental awareness as a cornerstone of public health protection and sustainable development.
By prioritizing Arabic-language outreach, the newsletter aimed to bridge the gap between scientific research and societal understanding, supporting informed public discourse and encouraging stronger national responses to emerging environmental challenges
The Arab Network for Addressing Emerging Environmental Pollutants (EPN) is a pioneering initiative aimed at addressing the environmental challenges related to emerging pollutants in the Arab region through enhancing regional and international cooperation and providing sustainable solutions.
