Networks Overview

ASTF has established multiple scientific networks as a core initiative to create communication channels among Arab scientists, technologists, and investors. The foundation prioritizes connecting professionals across specialized fields and facilitating collaboration on research and development initiatives.

ASTF welcomes proposals from scientists and investors interested in establishing new specialized networks covering emerging technological areas. The foundation provides administrative support and oversight, coordinating network activities, members, and events while establishing governance agreements and operational rules for each network.

Active networks addressing today's most pressing environmental and materials science challenges through collaborative research and innovation.

Emerging Pollutants Network (EPN)

Launched in April 2025, EPN addresses critical environmental and health concerns posed by emerging pollutants including PFAS (forever chemicals). The network brings together 250+ researchers, scientists, and environmental professionals to collaborate on detection, monitoring, and mitigation strategies.
