The “Future Hope Initiative” team received a message from the Foundation of Arab Scientific Research Councils, indicating that the Federation is working in parallel with the Future Hope Initiative, in alignment with the resolutions of the Higher Coordination Committee for Joint Arab Action at the League of Arab States. These resolutions emphasize the importance of supporting Arab countries in conflict zones and those facing extraordinary circumstances.
The Federation affirmed its efforts to provide practical solutions and sustainable programs to strengthen the resilience of universities and academic centres in these countries, ensuring the continuity of education for students despite the challenges they face.
This support aligns with the Federation’s vision to empower scientific research and higher education as fundamental pillars for rebuilding and development in affected communities. The message highlighted the Federation’s efforts in supporting Palestine, Yemen, Sudan, Syria, and Lebanon as part of the Arab Alliances for Scientific Research and Innovation Initiative. Recently, the Federation extended its assistance to Yemen and Sudan in areas such as digitizing scientific journals, enhancing the virtual presence of higher education institutions, and developing an electronic system to consolidate data in times of crisis.
The “Future Hope Initiative” values this significant effort and considers it a model of constructive partnership, strengthening our ability to achieve shared goals of providing higher education opportunities to youth affected by crises.
