Dr. Abdalmajeed Benamara, Secretary General of the Federation of Arab Scientific Research Councils, met with Dr. Abdulla Al-Najjar, President of the Arab Science and Technology Foundation, and Professor Ahmed Obaid Hassan, Secretary General of the Hope for Future Initiative. The meeting discussed the efforts made by the Federation to support universities in Sudan, Yemen, and Palestine to overcome the effects of destruction caused by ongoing wars. The Arab Foundation for Science and Technology and the Secretary General of the Hope for Future Initiative praised the Federation’s support for the Hope for Future Initiative, which represents a strong partnership between the Federation and the Initiative. The two parties also discussed opportunities for cooperation in other areas between the Foundation and the Foundation and agreed to exchange ideas and consult on areas of intersection. This meeting is an important step towards enhancing cooperation between the Foundation, the Federation, and the Hope for the Future Initiative, and promoting scientific research and innovation efforts in the region.
