Overview ASTF organizes and co-sponsors the Scientific Research Outlook Symposium (SRO) every two years. The symposium acts as a networking platform that guides and collaborates scientific research and technological development that target common strategic and sustainable development goals in the Arab countries. ASTF is keen to organize this biennial event to foster and promote coordination and collaboration among individual scholars, scientists and scientific organizations. Through collaboration, quality of research outcomes is elevated and cost of research is minimized. The SRO event is also attracting diaspora Arab scientists that are willing to collaborate with scientists inside the Arab countries.
